| We conduct the following researches: development of genetic
markers to investigate the genetic characters of regional stocks, study
of the genetic structure and genetic diversity of Japanese salmon populations,
and establishment of guidelines for the stock management with consideration
of the genetic diversity of Japanese salmon population.
